IAPA Members Code of Conduct
When you book an airport parking service you shouldn’t have to worry about the security of your car, so the Independent Airport Parking Association (IAPA) has created this code of conduct to outline the high quality of service you can expect when booking with any IAPA member.
IAPA members will:
-
Make every effort to ensure that information provided to you is clear and accurate, and will ensure you are aware of any booking conditions and limitations of liability before your contract is made.
-
Only park cars on land that is authorised for airport car parking and is a secure facility.
-
Use parking for park & ride and meet & greet services that is fenced off and closed to public access.
-
Clearly display whether your parking service is being provided by them or by another operator
-
Be appropriately insured with cover for customers and cars.
-
In the case of park-and-ride bookings, will aim to provide courtesy travel within 20 minutes of your arrival at the car park and within 20 minutes of you clearing customs.
-
Only use drivers who are fully qualified to operate the courtesy transport.
-
Only use drivers with valid licenses to move your car.
-
Have a clear, published procedure for complaints, cancellations and refunds.
-
Record any pre-existing damage to your car when you check-in so that complaints about damage can be quickly resolved.
