Southend Airport Parking Revamp

Southend Airport is revamping its short-stay car park to improve traffic flow and help the airport successfully reach its target of welcoming 2.5 million passengers a year by the end of 2019.

The new layout, which will be completed by the end of June, will see additional entrance and exit points added to the short-stay facility.

Costs will increase to £3 for up to 10 minutes drop off, with other short-stay tariffs staying the same. The 15 minutes free drop off/pick up option in the long-stay car park, which is within walking distance of the terminal entrance, remains.

The airport has also requested planning permission for a new 260-space car park on a site near the airport that will be used for meet & greet parking.
